The palace and park complex

The palace and park establishment in Ciekocinko is one of the most significant examples of a late nineteenth and early twentieth century complex in the Pomorskie voivodeship.

The palace and park complex in Ciekocinko is an example of a large establishment with a palace, park and farm house. It is located on the road from Kurowo to Ciekocinko, about 6 km from Choczewo. The complex is surrounded by a composed forest park in the west, and in the south and east it borders with fields and pastures.

The Ciekocinko palace and park complex with a farm house is characterized by a clear spatial layout. The grand scale composition of the picturesque area with a watercourse, situated in a deep ravine and woods, constitutes the setting for the dominating structure of the manor house and the regular plan of the courtyard and surrounding fields.

The palace and park complex in Ciekocinko had been in possession of consecutive landowners engaged in agricultural production. The large farm served the needs of agricultural production. The surrounding area is farmland, pastures and forests, which then belonged to the complex.

The layout of the complex from the late nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth century has been preserved. Functional and spatial divisions have also been preserved. The complex includes: the manor house with the driveway, a farm house with outbuildings, a landscape park which turns into a forest park, fields and pastures.
